Ultrasonic Spray Nozzles
We offer a full range of ultrasonic spray nozzles with different spray patterns, flow rates and droplet sizes. Whether you are coating a small medical device such as a drug eluting stent, coating the inside of a blood collection tube or depositing a thin film onto a fuel cell, we can offer the correct solution for your process.
Here are some of our most popular offerings. Contact us for a more comprehensive list.
Focused Ultrasonic Spray Nozzle
The focused spray nozzle utilizes a high frequency nozzle and air shaping shroud to achieve a focused spray of .010 inches, which is ideal for small devices such as stents, balloon catheters, wires, flux for selective soldering applications, etc.
Vortex Ultrasonic Spray Nozzle
The vortex spray nozzles utilizes an air shroud that creates a wide pattern “vortex-like” dispersion ideally suited for coating flat objects such as PEM Fuel Cells & Solar Cells. It is best to reciprocate a vortexing nozzle. A simple XY table can be utilized.
Wide Area Ultrasonic Spray Nozzle
The wide area spray nozzle utilizes a special air shaping device that creates a lateral fan pattern. This design can be integrated into reciprocating systems or deployed in tandem in a multiple nozzle array, enabling wide web coatings. Reciprocating systems with this nozzle are common in applying flux to the underside of printed circuit boards in a wave solder machine. Tandem systems are used in a wide variety of applications from float glass to textiles.
High Temperature Ultrasonic Spray Nozzle
The high temperature ultrasonic spray nozzle is ideal for environments up to 600°C. The high temperature atomizer was initial designed for ultrasonic spray pyrolysis applications, such as nanoparticle formation, crystalline thin film deposition and transparent conductive oxide (TCO) coatings.
