High Temperature Atomizer
The high temperature ultrasonic spray nozzle with air shaping is ideal for environments up to 600°C. The high temperature atomizer was initial designed for ultrasonic spray pyrolysis applications, such as nanoparticle formation, cyrstalline thin film deposition and transparent conductive oxide (TCO) coatings. Ultrasonic spray nozzles contain temperature sensitive piezoelectric transducers that can be damaged by high temperatures. The high temperature ultrasonic atomizer solves this issue by having the rear portion of the atomizer mounted externally or shield from a high temperature environment. The front section of the high temperature atomizer can be safely inserted into a super heated chamber and configured with either a vortex spray shaping attachment or pin point spray shaper. For additional protection, the rear body is also outfitted with cooling ports that allow the introduction of ambient or chilled air to circulate around the temperature sensitive piezoelectric transducers. Lastly as an additional feature, the tip of the ultrasonic device is fully detachable and replaceable. This is a benefit to many applications where the high temperature ultrasonic nozzle is mounted and replacement of a full system is costly and time consuming.
