Summary Related to Ultrasonic Stent Coating in Vacuum:
The liquid storage loop serves to store a predetermined amount of the liquid for injecting into the ultrasonic nozzle as a bolus, resulting in a pulse of liquid spray being ejected from the nozzle into the chamber. After the liquid storage loop is pressurized it is opened, ejecting the stored volume in the liquid storage loop through the ultrasonic nozzle causing it to expand into the vacuum in chamber. The ultrasonic nozzle has a bore or opening preferably in the range of from about 0.020 to about 0.030 inch diameter. The nozzle bore may optionally have a conical exit aperture with an included angle of about 118 degrees.
